Welcome to ChainLink: Smarter Cycling for Everyone
Getting started with ChainLink Analytics takes less than two minutes. Whether you are riding on the road, exploring gravel trails, or training indoors on Zwift, our streamlined setup gets your accounts connected and your fitness modeled with zero hassle.
For an overview of how the platform works, check out What is ChainLink Analytics?.
Step 1: Athlete Profile & Baselines (Onboarding Step 1)
Navigate to the ChainLink Onboarding Portal to begin your 3-step setup:
- Profile Details: Enter your name, date of birth, gender, preferred units (metric or imperial), and current body weight.
- Fitness Baselines: Input your estimated Functional Threshold Power (FTP) and Lactate Threshold Heart Rate (LTHR). If you don't know your exact numbers, ChainLink provides a sensible starting baseline and automatically refines it as you ride.
- Biometric Consent: Confirm your consent for physiological training analysis. ChainLink protects your data under strict GDPR zero-knowledge privacy standards and never monetizes athlete telemetry.
Step 2: Connect Your Devices (Onboarding Step 2 & Profile Integrations)
In Step 2 of Onboarding, link your primary cycling ecosystems with one-click authorization:
- Garmin Connect & Wahoo: Direct cloud connection for automatic ride push.
- Zwift: Automatic synchronization for virtual training and racing.
- Hammerhead Karoo: Instant headunit authorization.
- Manual FIT Uploads: Easy drag-and-drop file uploader.
Tip: You can also manage or update your device connections at any time after onboarding by visiting your Profile (/profile) and clicking the Integrations panel on the right side.
Upon connection, ChainLink immediately launches an automated 90-day historical backfill, calculating your complete Performance Management Chart and power records.
Step 3: Set Monthly Targets & Start Training
In Step 3 of Onboarding, set your monthly target (Distance, Elevation, or Ride Target) and enter your Dashboard (/dashboard):
-
Training Calendar (
/training): Drag and drop workouts and plan your season blocks. -
Route Builder (
/routes): Map routes and send them directly to your bike computer. -
Teams & Clubs (
/teams): Connect with your local squad and coordinate group rides. -
Women's Health (
/womens-health): Enable cycle-adapted training inside your profile settings. -
Manual & Strava Uploads (
/upload): Drop in historical FIT files or upload your complete Strava ZIP export archive.
Best of all, you get full access to all of these features without paying expensive subscription fees.
