Is Threshold Cycling new? I've never heard of you.

We're a small company that started in 2024. Our owner, Steve, is a passionate road cyclist that just wants to offer decent kit at affordable prices. It really is that simple.

Do have free shipping?

Yep! All orders over $50 have free shipping in the United States. Anything less than $50 has a flat, $4.99 fee. Nice and simple.

Want to ship internationally? We do that too! Flat fee of $29.99, anywhere in the world.

Do I really need bike shorts?

Not everyone wears bike shorts, but they can be really helpful. They have padding (called chamois, pronounced 'sham-ee') that help take the pressure off of more sensitive areas.

Also, the compressive design of cycling shorts can help reduce fatigue and are far much more aerodynamic than regular shorts.

Why should I wear a bike jersey?

Bike jerseys are great - they are close fitting to help improve aerodynamics, and have three pockets in the rear to help carry extra food, fluids, and maybe even tools.

Most bike jerseys have either a 3/4 or full zipper in the front to help with temperature regulation.

How do your Zwift Group Rides work?

If you are a Zwift subscriber, you can join any of our group rides for free. Simply head over to our Zwift Group Rides page and look for a ride you are interested in joining!

Is Threshold Cycling only for road cyclists?

While we are geared towards road cyclists, our bike shorts, jerseys, helmets, etc...can generally be used for gravel and mountain biking as well.

Do you have apparel for plus size cycling apparel?

We sure do! We have plus size cycling jerseys and plus size bike shorts.

At Threshold Cycling, we want everyone to have the right gear when riding their bike. That's why we seek out brands that have options 2XL or larger in both cycling jerseys and bike shorts.

Can I get a gift card for a cyclist?

Absolutely!

You can get a Threshold Cycling gift card here; they are available in $25 increments, up to $150.

What if you don't have what I'm looking for - can you find it?

What is a cycling cap for?

A good cycling cap can be a lifesaver. They are intended to be worn under your helmet, and can help keep sweat from dripping into your eyes. The visor can be flipped up or down to help reduce glare as well. Cycling caps can also help keep you warm while riding on cool days.
