Monitor your exact pedaling cadence and real-time wheel speed outdoors or on the indoor trainer with the official Garmin Bike Speed Sensor 2 and Cadence Sensor 2 Bundle (010-12845-30). Completely magnet-free and wireless, both sensors install in minutes without requiring fragile spoke magnets or frame-mounted alignment parts—making them effortless to install or swap between road, gravel, mountain, and indoor bikes.
Equipped with dual-band ANT+® and Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) transmitters, the Speed Sensor 2 and Cadence Sensor 2 stream live data simultaneously to your Garmin Edge® GPS bike computer, Forerunner®/fēnix® smartwatch, and indoor training apps like Zwift, TrainerRoad, and the Garmin Connect™ mobile app.
Key Features & Engineering Highlights
- Hub-Mounted Speed Sensor 2 with Auto-Calibration: Straps directly around either front or rear wheel hub and self-calibrates with your Edge® cycling computer or Garmin device to deliver accurate speed and distance—even under dense tree cover, in tunnels, or on indoor rollers/trainers where GPS is unavailable.
- Standalone Odometer Memory: The Speed Sensor 2 stores ride distance internally and syncs directly to the Garmin Connect™ app even when you ride without a head unit, making it easy to track accurate component maintenance intervals.
- Magnet-Free Cadence Sensor 2: Fastens securely to any crank arm size using the three included silicone strap sizes, measuring accurate pedal strokes per minute (RPM) so you can train in your optimal efficiency zone.
- Dual ANT+® & Bluetooth® Connectivity: Pair with Garmin Edge computers, ANT+ radar/display units, and Bluetooth smartphones or tablets simultaneously.
- 1-Year Battery Life: Powered by user-replaceable CR2032 coin cell batteries rated for up to 12 months of regular riding (at 1 hour per day) with 1 ATM water resistance.
