Unlock the full potential of your Shimano road pedals with the Favero Assioma Duo-Shi power meter spindles. This innovative system transforms your existing compatible Shimano pedal bodies (PD-R8000, PD-R7000, PD-6800, PD-R550, and PD-R540) into a high-precision, dual-sided power meter. Your Ride Starts with Threshold Cycling, and with the Assioma Duo-Shi, you'll gain invaluable insights into your cycling performance.
Experience the Power of Dual-Sided Measurement
Unlike single-sided power meters, the Favero Assioma Duo Shi power meter measures power independently from both your left and right legs. This provides a complete picture of your power output, including left/right balance, allowing you to identify and address any imbalances that might be hindering your performance. Installation, while requiring some mechanical aptitude, is straightforward with detailed instructions and readily available online resources. The system boasts +/- 1% accuracy, giving you confidence in the data you're using to guide your training. These power meter pedals (spindles to be precise) connect seamlessly via Bluetooth and ANT+ to your bike computer and favorite cycling apps. The rechargeable batteries provide over 50 hours of ride time, and the system includes advanced IAV Cycling Dynamics for in-depth analysis of your pedal stroke. With Threshold Cycling and the Assioma Duo-Shi, you are closer to reaching your ride goals! Important Note: This product includes only the power meter spindles. Shimano pedal bodies are not included and must be purchased separately or already owned. Note the Duo-Shi's increased Q-Factor, +64mm with PD-R7000/R550/R540 and +65mm with PD-R8000/6800 pedal bodies.
We're a small company that started in 2024. Our owner, Steve, is a passionate road cyclist that just wants to offer decent kit at affordable prices. It really is that simple.
Yep! All orders over $50 have free shipping in the United States. Anything less than $50 has a flat, $4.99 fee. Nice and simple.
Want to ship internationally? We do that too! Flat fee of $29.99, anywhere in the world.
Not everyone wears bike shorts, but they can be really helpful. They have padding (called chamois, pronounced 'sham-ee') that help take the pressure off of more sensitive areas.
Also, the compressive design of cycling shorts can help reduce fatigue and are far much more aerodynamic than regular shorts.
We have a wide variety of affordable bike shorts - take a look at them here.
Bike jerseys are great - they are close fitting to help improve aerodynamics, and have three pockets in the rear to help carry extra food, fluids, and maybe even tools.
Most bike jerseys have either a 3/4 or full zipper in the front to help with temperature regulation.
If you are a Zwift subscriber, you can join any of our group rides for free. Simply head over to our Zwift Group Rides page and look for a ride you are interested in joining!
While we are geared towards road cyclists, our bike shorts, jerseys, helmets, etc...can generally be used for gravel and mountain biking as well.
At Threshold Cycling, we want everyone to have the right gear when riding their bike. That's why we seek out brands that have options 2XL or larger in both cycling jerseys and bike shorts.
Absolutely!
You can get a Threshold Cycling gift card here; they are available in $25 increments, up to $150.
A good cycling cap can be a lifesaver. They are intended to be worn under your helmet, and can help keep sweat from dripping into your eyes. The visor can be flipped up or down to help reduce glare as well. Cycling caps can also help keep you warm while riding on cool days.
At Threshold Cycling, we have a number of different cycling caps to choose from:
Trek
Campagnolo
7-Eleven
BMC
Saeco
Quick-Step
Renault
And quite a few more! Check out our full selection here.
That's right - not too many reviews, but you'll notice they are all very positive!
Unlike other companies, we don't buy reviews. What you see are real people writing authentic reviews.
Perhaps you'd like to write the next review?
Not at this time. Perhaps one day in the future!
Not in the traditional sense, though we'd like to in the not too distant future.
However - if you are a young, aspiring rider with some races under your belt, we are willing to help you get the gear you need at better prices -- with only a few strings attached. Drop us a line and we'll see what we can do!
